Because they don’t eat meat they have to take special pills that give the missing nutrients because they lack some proteins.
Vegans take this to the extreme, not eating any animal meet or products.
A lot of people are vegetarians because they are against needless animal slaughter, and massive animal agriculture production, that make the animals live in filthy and unhealthy conditions.
Some people say that a vegetarian diet is healthier the a normal person’s diet.
