Destruction of the ozone layer

The ozone is the substance that protect the earth for sun’s rays. The CFC is the guilty of destruction of the ozone layer, but it disappeared from the market. Because of that ozone layer are destroyed the sun’s rays come to the earth and because there isn’t no layer, the UVA and UVB, enter in planet atmosphere and leads yo skin cancer, destruction of the aquatic habitats, and drought. This phenomenon affects the ecosystems of the planet not only the aquatic but also terrestrial. The consequence is the extinction of species: animals and plants. So when you are going buy deodorant, for example, by a roll-on, instead of a spray. There, you are contributing to save your planet.

Cloning

Cloning is the matipulation of gens.With cloning, we can create two identical persons. The cloning was tested in animals, for example:cats, dogs, sheeps and monkeys. The cloned animal most known was sheep Dolly. I don’t agree with the cloning in human beings, because each person are unique, and nobody can steal your identity. Cloning is beneficial for the medicine, because we can cloning organs for transplants.

The cloning is far from be used in humans beings, but can be a big step to the humanity.

Being a vegetarian is a life style that includes not eating meat, there diet is purely fruit and vegetable based.

Because they don’t eat meat they have to take special pills that give the missing nutrients because they lack some proteins.

Vegans take this to the extreme, not eating any animal meet or products.

A lot of people are vegetarians because they are against needless animal slaughter, and massive animal agriculture production, that make the animals live in filthy and unhealthy conditions.    

Some people say that a vegetarian diet is healthier the a normal person’s diet.

 

    

Global Warming

Global warming:

 

Global warming is a problem that growed in the last years. With bigger industrializations and more cars that are powered my fossil fuels, carbon dioxide has gone up tremendously   this is one of the min causes of the green house effect.

The solution to minimize this factor is to use renewable energies, so that we are able to reduce CO2 production. Alternative energies that are most common are:  solar, wind, geothermic, and wave energy.

In our homes we can reduce electric consumisum by using a solar panel, like that we can have a warm house and we don’t have to resort to fossil fuels. If we used public transport instead of individual cars we will reduce CO2 levels in the atmosphere and minimize the number of vehicles, causing less traffic jams.

If we all do our fair share we can make a difference, we can change the world to the better, we can stop global warming, it’s your choice now it’s up to you!

 

Animal Abuse

Animals have the same rights to live as any human does. What happens a lot is that us humans think we are superior to animals, maltreating them and many times abandoning them because there are no longer wanted or serve no more purpose.  

                In the last years abandoning dogs and cats has raised so much that there isn’t a place in this country that we don’t see strays that walk the streets in a despicable manner practically rotting of their feet, thirsty, and full of parasites.  

                These animals suffer a lot with bad treatment and ownership, they become aggressive towards people and start stealing food and killing other animals like sheep so they can survive.

This makes matter worse, people start to beat and gun down the animals.

It’s not fair that a rational person does this to a helpless creature, and makes them live their life struggling to survive. If they can’t treat the animal well why have them in the first place?

Most abandon animals are “dumped” out during the summer months, because many people go off on vacation so they leave them to fend for themselves in the woods. 

 

“We have to save the planet from Global Warming!” “Global Warming? there’s no such thing!”

Samantha: Hi! I heard you in the class, and you didn’t seem to be worried about these environmental problems, that we have been talking about.
Norah: That’s true! I’m not worry about this environmental things.
Samantha: How can you say that?! Don’t you know that Global Warming is going to change our lives!
Norah: Yes okay, you saw Al Gore’s film.
Samantha: Yes I did. And so did you! Didn’t you see those images of the sea level rise?
Norah:Those images are made whit a computer, that will never happen.
Samantha:  What about the hurricanes?
Norah: Okay, Okay. But, have you ever thought that all this can be natural?
Samantha:If it was natural, it wouldn’t be happening só fast. What about all those animals that disappeared?
Norah: Natural Selection?
Samantha: I will say it again, if it was natural, it wouldn’t be happening so fast. All these events are only warning for what’s to come!
Norah: Now you being too dramatic. I save water and energy too, but it isn’t to save the environment, it is to save money. If that makes you feel better, you can see it as saving the Planet.
Samantha: You may not believe that Global Warming is man-made because it hasn’t touched you personally, but when it does, you will believe Norah.
Norah: You might be right. But until then, I will still think like that. But don’t worry, even though I do not believe in this environmental thing, I will still save water and energy, and I’ll walk to school everyday, at least, to save money.
Samantha: Well, that’s a start.

There are a lot of people like Norah, that didn’t already realize the that Global Warming is really happening and we can’t deny it. You have compromise ourselves to help the people around us to understand the importance of the Global Warming.

The Grocery Store Wars

I will include a small funny video about the problem that we have now-a-days with food.
Before food come to our tables, they can pass for a long process, that can make, for example, the vegetables grow faster, get rid of the pests, increase the production, and the food last more time before they rot.
Of course, that the food looks better, but they don’t do better. Most of them are treated with very danger pesticides and chemicals that can be danger for our health.
An other problem is the GMO. GMO is the definition of genetically modified organism.
Using technology, it is possible to take the DNA of an organism, and make a new organism with new genes with the characteristics that they want it to have. It can have lots of advantages, but because we can’t predict the effects of this unnatural food in your bodies, it make it seem to danger for me to even think about eat them.
The food that we buy have to be carefully selected by us, and they have to be organic, so we and our family can be more healthy.
This video is about to choose organic food instead of the modified and bad treated one.

“Good morning!Are you interested in a clone?”

Hello!

How much times we have already think or listen people saing “I would like to have a twin! Should be so fun! Do some pranks, like exchange boyfriends/girlfriends with my twin, do the tests of your brother/sister if you’re better in Mats than him/her, etc…”?! It’s funny imagine that, isn’t it?

Well, now that can be real. It won’t be a twin, but…a clone! It’s a equal of you. The soul it’s different. Yes! Nobody can ‘copy’ your soul! It’s impossible.Your clone is equal of you physically, but in mind can be totally diferent, just like a twin. You can like shy persons more than she/he. He/she could be more social than you…

Would you like to see outside, when you go to school or job, other person equal of you? The same hair, the same eyes…Do you? I probably know your answer:NO!

Do you think you have a bad alimentation?

Now, meat and fish are nasty for you? Can’t you eat a burger because when you look to the burger, you see a cow?! Do you want to change your habits?

I have the sollution that you already should know: you should be a vegetarian!

And if you don’t know what is this, I explain. A vegetarian doesn’t eat fish, meat, eggs and seafood, and can eat cereals, rice, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, dairy products, grain, beens, oil and olive oil.

There is vegan too, a person who doesn’t eat nothing that come from animals, like a vegetarian, but includes honey, because is made by bees,  and other things that are produced by animals. Some persons don’t dresses clothes made of animals.

An ovo-lacto-vegetarian is like a vegan but consume milk and eggs.

And, now, exist too a semi-vegetarian, a person who consume eggs, dairy products, chicken and fish, but don’t consume any more products that come from animals.

Recycling

What happen after I recycle at home?

You put your garbage in recycling bank. After that, when recycling bank is full, come trucks and go with garbage to some specialized facilities where is made other rigorous selection, and when we have metal for one side, paper, glass, plastic, all of them separated, they, for example, compressed the plastic in bales. There this bales are send to a place where are washed, take out the caps, etc…It’s a preparation process. After they are grinding, merge, are send to factories to produce other things.

Recycling is so easy for us, and when we recycle we are helping the trees, the forests, the animals, the world…You save raw materials and make the planet more healthy and less dependent of oil.
